How Corona Virus Covid 19 May Affect Collision Repair

Turk’s Collision Repair is following the events unfolding during the Corona Virus, (Covid-19), and how it may affect collision repair.

We are taking precautions on a personal level, in so far as hand washing, sanitizing and so on. We are fully staffed, performing estimates and collision repair on schedule.

What we know at this point, is that the “big  three” automakers announced they will have temporary shutdowns due to Covid-19. Certain automotive dealerships have also closed temporarily. This may result in a supply chain issue, but currently we are still ordering and receiving parts. Our paint, materials and supplies vendors have been delivering in a timely manner, however they have indicated they may have a slight delay as they also take necessary precautions to help slow the spread of Covid 19.

We are essentially a retail business, and interactions with clients and vendors is typical. Our staff is a small tight knit group of people, almost familial in nature and we are limiting personal exposure as recommended. Hand washing, sanitizing and practicing social distance. Additionally we are sanitizing keys, steering wheels, door handles on cars.

Rest assured that at this point in time, business is running as normally as possible. We recommend that if you need collision repairs performed, that you call ahead for information regarding obtaining estimates or scheduling collision repairs. In the event that your car is not driveable and it is towed in, we will attend to it as quickly as possible.

Stay well. We thank you for your patronage and appreciate your patience during this time.
