The Hyundai Web Page proclaims: “ELANTRA NAMED A 2017 IIHS TOP SAFETY PICK+ Vehicles must excel in high-speed frontal crash tests, side crash tests, rollover tests and more to earn this award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), when equipped with optional Automatic Emergency Braking on all SUV models built after March 2016.
